“This work is a response to a forced conformity felt in childhood – an internalised pressure to comply with the rigid binary of identity that Northern Ireland permits, and to hid anything which falls outside of this.

Outside of the Binary documents the everyday lives of 6 individuals over the age of 40 who identify as queer and live in Northern Ireland.”
