An extremely hot chilli rated 100,000350,000 on the Scoville scale. Habaneros yield small, bell-shaped fruit, which mature to bright red. Originally from the Caribbean, (try it in Jamaican jerk sauce) the Habanero’s intense heat and fruity aroma is favoured in spicy Mexican foods like chilli, fajitas and salsas.
