An heirloom variety, Bulls Blood is an attractive addition to the garden, with bold burgundy hued leaves. Sliced, the roots show delicate candy-pink rings, with an appetising sweetly earthy flavour. Baby leaves add an enjoyable and tasty pop of colou r to salads or can be steamed like spinach. Great for harvesting as baby beets, or let them grow and enjoy slow-roasted, steamed or pickled.
